Arvest Bank is pleased to announce commercial lender J.P. Barnett will receive the Elbert S. Graham/Elza Tucker Award from the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce at its 96th annual Celebration of Business & Community on Feb. 22.

The event, which honors numerous outstanding community leaders, will be held at the John Q. Hammons Convention Center in Rogers.

Barnett, who celebrated his 20-year anniversary with Arvest in August, works at the branch located at 103 S. Bloomington in Lowell. In receiving the award, Barnett is being recognized for his “significant contribution to the betterment of the Lowell community” and for having “given above and beyond to the community,” according to a chamber release.

“J.P. is truly deserving of this recognition, and we couldn’t be more proud of him,” said Payne Brewer, commercial loan manager for Arvest in Benton County. “In addition to being an excellent banker, J.P. has always made time to give back to the community. His actions are a wonderful reflection of Arvest’s overall commitment to our communities. We look forward to celebrating this honor with him.”

This year’s event begins with a cocktail reception from 5:30-6:45 p.m., and is followed by the awards celebration from 7-7:50 p.m. The evening concludes with a party (including cash bar, coffee and dessert stations) from 7:50-9 p.m.
